The much anticipated Fortnite Kicks are here, meaning you can now customize what's on your feet with the first new locker option to be added in years. There were a few delays in getting them released due to some unexpected issues, but they're now out there and available as part of the Remix Pass, as well as potential purchases from the Item Shop. If you want to slip on a fresh pair of sneakers, then it's time to get that fancy footwear on your feet.
This means that if you've already received the Air Jordan 1 High OG Black Toe Reimagined reward in game after the v32.10 update, you can now equip those Fortnite Kicks on any of your compatible characters. You can also add shoes to most of your Outfits, from well known footwear brands such as Nike and Jordan (with more to follow in the future) as well as Original Kicks based on Fortnite designs. If you're looking for more information on when you can get your Kicks in Fortnite and how to check Outfit compatibility, here's what you need to know.

Can Fortnite Kicks be used with all Outfits?
Epic have been working hard to make sure that Fortnite Kicks can be used with as many different Outfits as possible, though this is a big undertaking as it means many character models have had to be tweaked or redesigned to accommodate changing footwear. According to their announcement, "Kicks will be compatible with over 500 of the most popular Fortnite Outfits to start, with more than 95% of Outfits compatible by Spring of next year." Naturally, there will be a small number of Outfits that will be difficult or impossible to accommodate Kicks with, but for the most part there will be compatibility across the board.
Epic have released a full compatibility list for which Outfits you can use with Kicks in Fortnite, and if you select a pair in the Item Shop then you'll see a message as highlighted above to confirm if they can be used with your currently equipped Outfit. Follow the 'Kicks Usability' prompt at the bottom of this screen, and you'll be shown a run down of all the Outfits you currently own that are compatible with the Kicks cosmetic, should you decide to swap.
